SESB warns of possible load shedding exercise

KOTA KINABALU: Sabah Electricity Sdn Bhd (SESB) warns the people of Sabah of a possible load shedding exercise today.

In a notice, the state utility company expects about 5 per cent of consumers would be affected during the rotational power cut that lasts between two and three hours.

Among the districts that will be affected are Kota Kinabalu, Papar, Tambunan, Kota Marudu, Sandakan, Kinabatangan, Lahad Datu, Sipitang, Tawau and Semporna.

"Due to high demand and in order to stabilise the Sabah grid, load shedding is forecasted to be executed by rotation.
