PN Youth lodges report to stop Beruas MP from issuing further statements

KOTA BARU: Perikatan Nasional (PN) has lodged a report today urging police to ban Beruas member of parliament Datuk Ngeh Koo Ham of the DAP from making further statements on the recent attack on his property.

The report was lodged by PN Youth member Suffi Kamari at Kajang police station at about 11am.

Accompanying him were PN Youth chief Ahmad Fadhli Shaari and Bersatu Youth chief Wan Ahmad Fayhsal Wan Ahmad Kamal.

Speaking at a press conference later, Ahmad Fadhli who is also Pasir Mas MP said the report was to urge the police to stop Ngeh from issuing further statements on the case.

"Ngeh should stop making more statements like he did yesterday and let the police continue with its probe into the attack.

"He should not show that he is smarter than the police. His actions yesterday exemplify the true DAP struggle.

In a statement yesterday, Ngeh said that he suspected the attack on his residence was related with the recent statement by Pas and PN.

"There is no reason for Pas and PN to do such a treachery act against him. Even, we urged the police to speed up their investigation into the case," said Ahmad Fadhli.

He said PN also hoped the police would bring those involved to justice soon.
