ISKANDAR PUTERI: A total of 30 agencies and departments in the administration centre of the Johor state government in Kota Iskandar will form the Southern Volunteers (SV) Kota Iskandar team.
All departments will be required to send at least five representatives to become permanent members of SV Kota Iskandar to assist in volunteer-related activities, including flood relief work.
The launch of the volunteer team was officiated by the Johor state secretary Tan Sri Dr Azmi Rohani in Kota Iskandar today.
SV Kota Iskandar will be led by the Johor Digital Media director Mohd Johari Tarmidi, and will involve departments and agencies such as the Office of the Chief Minister of Johor, the Johor State Land and Mines Office, the Johor State Sports Council, and the Johor State Treasury Office.
