Ramanan extends Chinese New Year Greetings

KUALA LUMPUR: Deputy Entrepreneur Development and Cooperatives Minister Datuk R. Ramanan extended Chinese New Year greetings to Malaysians who will be celebrating the festival this Saturday (Feb 10).

Through a 10-second video he shared on his Facebook last tnight (February 8), he also expressed hoped that everything Malaysians wish for will be achieved this year.

"Zhu da jia Gong Xi Fa Cai, wan shi ru yi, xin xiang shi cheng (Wishing everyone Gong Xi Fa Cai, may all your wishes come true and may you achieve anything your heart desires)," said Ramanan, who is also the Member of Parliament (MP) for Sungai Buloh.

Entering the new year of the Lunar Calendar on Feb 10, the Year of the Dragon is one of the most auspicious moments because according to Feng Shui, the knowledge of ancient Chinese society's heritage, this year will bring great changes to society. — Bernama
