SEBERANG PRAI: Seberang Prai City Council (MBSP) has successfully organised the Seberang Prai Cycling Day Series 2/2024 at the Batu Kawan state stadium on Saturday.
This monthly cycling event, aimed at engaging the residents of Seberang Prai and MBSP staff in a community-building exercise, was launched by Seberang Prai mayor Datuk Azhar Arshad.
The event also saw the participation of council members Anuar Yusoff and Ng Wai Leong, along with senior officials from MBSP.
The Seberang Prai Cycling Day Series is part of the city council's efforts to foster closer ties with the community through cycling.
This free monthly programme invites the public for a leisurely ride across various scenic locations in Seberang Prai.
Besides promoting physical fitness, the event allows participants to appreciate the beauty of Seberang Prai in the morning through specially planned routes.
The city council plans to announce future dates and locations for the programme on social media, inviting all cycling enthusiasts to join.
Participants will be provided with complimentary refreshments post-event, and there are no restrictions on the type of bicycles or age groups of participants.
