SEBERANG PRAI: Residents stand a chance to win cash prizes as part of the "Jom Bayar Cukai Taksiran MBSP 2024 & Menang" promotion organised the Penang state government, the Seberang Prai City Council said in a Facebook post on Feb 20.
Taxpayers who settle their assessment tax online or via city council collection kiosks and agents by Feb 29 will be eligible to participate in this lucky draw.
The grand prize winner will receive RM8,888 in cash, while the second and third-place winners will be awarded RM5,000 and RM4,000, respectively. Additional prizes are also up for grabs, encouraging citizens to take advantage of this golden opportunity.
To qualify for the draw, payments must be made online or through kiosks for the year 2024, including any arrears. It should be noted that payments made at city council counters, including branch offices, are not eligible for this promotion.
The initiative, sponsored by ASPIRE Seberang Perai, is part of an effort to streamline tax payments and promote the use of digital payment platforms, enhancing convenience for taxpayers and improving the efficiency of the municipal council's collection processes.
