KUALA LUMPUR: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has expressed hope that the current Parliament session will further strengthen the cooperation of all quarters in developing the country for the benefit of its people.
In a Facebook post today, Anwar, who is also Tambun member of parliament, also shared several photos of the First Meeting of the Third Session of the 15th Parliament opening ceremony earlier today.
Anwar and his wife, Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail attended the opening session, graced by His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim, King of Malaysia and Queen of Malaysia, Raja Zarith Sofiah.
"Dr Wan Azizah and I started our Monday morning by attending the First Meeting of the Third Session of the 15th Parliament opening ceremony, graced by Sultan Ibrahim and Raja Zarith Sofiah.
"May this session strengthen the cooperation of all parties, as we come together in unity and solidarity to develop the nation for the benefit of all citizens," he wrote.
