KUALA LUMPUR: The Higher Education Ministry has started a series of visits to higher education institutions beginning with a two-day tour in Sarawak as its first zone.
The Madani Campus Revitalisation Programme will include 15 other zones covering public and private universities, polytechnics and community colleges nationwide.
The field visit will observe the actual situation at the institutional level and hear firsthand the implementation challenges at the grassroots level.
"This is to ensure that the welfare aspects, especially for students and staff, are given priority.
"Various programmes are planned and all institutional community groups will be celebrated during this tour to strengthen strategic cooperation and collaboration between the ministry and higher education institutions," the ministry said in a statement.
