KUALA LUMPUR: The wife of a policeman who has been missing after the boat he was on capsized in Sarawak last week, has not given up hope that he will be found.
"Day 6, I am still faithfully waiting for you", said Anis Nur Ezzati in a social media post yesterday.
According to Dayak Daily, her post came two days after she left another heartwrenching message for her husband, Iskandar Ibrahim, amid ongoing search and rescue efforts.
"I did not have the fortune of seeing you today, but it's okay my love, I will wait for you."
Her posts have drawn sympathy from social media users, many of whom said they have prayed for her husband's safe return.
Iskandar was among five people who were on the ill-fated boat that was travelling along the Batang Baleh river in Kapit on March 7.
One person was rescued, while the bodies of three others have been recovered.
The authorities are still searching for Iskandar.
