Siti Dhia Batrisyia found: Mother

KUALA LUMPUR: 12-year-old Siti Dhia Batrisyia Mohd Chairil Anuar who was reported missing since last Tuesday, was found safe while walking alone in a shop lot area in Sri Rampai here, at 2.28am earlier.

Her mother, Syarifah Rosfazila Syed Muhammad Fazili, when contacted by Bernama, confirmed the matter.

She said the discovery of her daughter by police officers from the Dang Wangi Police Headquarters was informed to her by the Sri Rampai Neighborhood Watch Patrol Unit.

"Siti Dhia Batrisyia has been handed over to me, and at this moment, we are at Kuala Lumpur Hospital for a health check-up on my daughter," she said.

She had earlier shared the relieving news on her Facebook page at around 6.45am.

"Allahu Akbar… Allah is great. With all the prayers and assistance from everyone, my daughter Siti Dhia Batrisyia Mohd Chairil Anuar has been found safe. We found her walking alone at 2.28 am," she said.

Syarifah Rosfazila also expressed her gratitude to all parties, including the police team from IPD Dang Wangi, for their efforts in locating her daughter.

It was previously reported that Dhia's mother believed her daughter left their home in Pudu here due to a misunderstanding.
