KUALA LUMPUR: The public has expressed dissatisfaction with this year's Ramadan bazaar foods, citing high prices and low satisfaction level.

Many people have taken to social media to share their negative experiences, with some opting to boycott the bazaars altogether and cook at home instead.

The foods in the bazaar are said to be too pricey as nowadays people easily spent Rm100 per outing for few foods, equals to a mid-tier ramadhan buffet prices.

Khairul Aming's viral cooking content, particularly his "30 Hari, 30 Resepi" series, has played a significant role in encouraging this shift in behaviour.

Through his series, he shares recipes for breaking fast or pre-dawn meals that are easy for viewers to follow and guaranteed to be delicious.
