KK city hall offering compound discounts of up to 80pc

KOTA KINABALU: Kota Kinabalu City Hall is offering discounts on outstanding compounds of up to 80 per cent to encourage people to settle their dues.

"In line with the 'Let's Settle Compounds' campaign which commenced on on Feb 2, a reduction of 50 to 80 per cent in compound will be granted to those who pay online.

"The public is advised to take advantage of this discount offer which ends on March 31," the council said in a statement, adding that the deadline would not be extended.

DBKK said legal action will be taken for outstanding compound payments as enforced under the Small Laws (Provisions of Public Parking Spaces) (Public Coupon Parking) Kota Kinabalu City 2014 and the Small Laws (Streets and Public Places) Kota Kinabalu City 1966, Amendment 2008, including vehicle seizures.

To make online payments, the public can visit eservices.dbkk.sabah.gov.my.
