KUALA LUMPUR: The United States Embassy in Malaysia extends warm wishes of Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri to all Muslims in the country.
In a one-minute video shared on the embassy's official YouTube channel, the US ambassador to Malaysia Edgard D. Kagan conveyed heartfelt greetings to Malaysians for a blessed Hari Raya Aidilfitri.
In the video, Kagan is seen weaving ketupat, which he describes as a cherished Malaysian festive tradition that symbolises unity and gratitude.
"On behalf of all of us at the US embassy, I wish everyone celebrating in Malaysia a very blessed Hari Raya.
"May you enjoy this special occasion with your loved ones and friends during Raya. Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri," he said.
Muslims in Malaysia will celebrate Hari Raya Aidilfitri next week.
