Nurse found unconscious on roadside says she was hit on the head

KUALA PILAH: A female nurse who was found unconscious on a roadside here last night said she was hit on the head.

The woman was lying face down outside her car, whose engine was still running. Her shoes were removed.

Kuala Pilah district deputy police chief Deputy Superintendent Syahrul Anuar Abdul Wahab said the woman was struck on the head.

Police received a report around 11pm stating that people found a female nurse unconscious in Jalan Simpang Tiga Dangi, near Johol, and she was believed to have been robbed.

The victim was taken to Tuanku Ampuan Najihah Hospital.

Syahrul Anuar said the woman, who is in her 30s, was on her way home from work at the hospital when the incident occurred.

"The victim is still receiving treatment and we are obtaining more information from her.

"Based on initial information, she reported not being robbed but only being hit on the head.

"Investigations also found no personal belongings missing," he said.
