"The meeting, which was attended by the state leadership, youth and women's wings leaders emphasised on Madani government's efforts to put a stop on hardcore poverty and programmes as a continuous effort to elevate the people," it said.

It said the MPN has presented three specific proposals during the meeting, namely, poverty-eradication programmes, ensuring efforts to address citizenship issues to be done in a transparent manner involving cross-agency cooperation, as well as closer political collaborations between component parties in facing the state elections.

It said Sabah PKR remains committed to ensure the voices of Sabahans are heard and immediate actions could be taken to address challenges faced by the people.

It said it also welcomes the party president's assurance to ensure that Sabah would receive the federal government's attention to ensure that the people and state receive continuous benefits from the development and unity.
