JOHOR BARU: An unoccupied building on Jalan Wong Ah Fook was damaged in a fire triggered by unmanaged waste burning, here, today.
Larkin Fire and Rescue Department operation commander Mohd Shahrizal Abd Rahman said the unoccupied Wisma HYH sustained about 30 per cent damages to its facade due to the unmanaged rubbish blaze.
A team of 19 firemen took less than an hour to douse the fire that was reported at 12.30pm.
There were no casualties reported.
