Lumut helicopter crash: Autopsy of female navy personnel completed

IPOH: The autopsy of three out of the 10 victims of helicopter crash at the Royal Malaysian Navy (TLDM) base in Lumut have been completed.

It is understood that the investigation process conducted at the Forensic Department of Raja Permaisuri Bainun Hospital (HRPB) here involving three female victim bodies was completed last night.

Earlier it was reported that the bodies of eight Muslim victims of yesterday's helicopter crash are expected to be taken to the 23rd Battalion of the Royal Malay Regiment (RAMD) here for funeral prayers.

The bodies will be then taken home to their respective hometowns.

Yesterday, two armed forces helicopters crashed following a mid-air collision over the naval base in Lumut.

All 10 crew members on board both helicopters perished.
