LLBSB denies CheguBard's allegations on alienation of Dengkil land

KUALA LUMPUR: The Selangor government has never issued any approval to hand over a plot of land in Dengkil to Landasan Lumayan Berjaya Sdn Bhd (LLBSB).

LLBSB, in a statement, said the Selangor government also did not alienate the land to LLBSB or any other entity without imposing the required premium payment as per established regulations.

"The land alienation is conducted in accordance with normal procedural frameworks, transparency and accountability in all transactions," LLBSB said in a statement.

The company also responded to allegations and a police report made by Badrul Hisham Shaharin, better known as CheguBard, that Selangor Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Amiruddin Shaari had approved the land alienation to LLBSB, a company in which Amiruddin was alleged to have a personal interest.

"He (Amiruddin) was merely a director of LLBSB by virtue of the 45 per cent equity interest held in LLBSB by Landasan Lumayan Sdn Bhd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Menteri Besar Selangor (Pemerbadanan)."

The company said Badrul Hisham's allegations were false and factually inaccurate, including previous postings made in various social media platforms.

"In fact, this is not the first time Badrul Hisham has circulated, averred, commented and/or made allegations pertaining to the issue of alienation of land to LLBSB.

"At the outset, we wish to deny all of these allegations as they are not only baseless and/or inaccurate, but also made maliciously to hurt our reputation," it said.

LLBSB said it had on Oct 10, 2023 instructed its solicitors, Messrs Pierre Chuah &

Associates to file a legal suit against Badrul Hisham for defamation.

"Badrul Hisham has failed and/or neglected and/or refused to enter appearance despite successfully receiving the cause papers for the said suit," it said.

The company said it is currently applying to the Shah Alam High Court to enter judgment in default of defence against Badrul Hisham.
