PN expected to unveil KKB manifesto at 5pm

KUALA LUMPUR: Perikatan Nasional (PN) is set to unveil its manifesto for the Kuala Kubu Baharu by-election at around 5pm, today.

Among the top leaders of the opposition block expected to be present are PN chairman Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin and Selangor PN chief Datuk Seri Azmin Ali.

Additionally, the PN candidate nominated to run for the constituency Khairul Azhari Saut, will also be present.

The coalition had previously expressed its satisfaction with the educational background of its candidate prior to nominations.

Azmin said PN remained firm in its support and affirmed that Khairul's credentials had been meticulously screened and were found satisfactory.

The state seat by-election will see a four-corner fight between Pakatan Harapan (PH), PN and two more candidates.

Khairul is up against PH's Pang Sock Tao, Hafizah Zainudin of Parti Rakyat Malaysia (PRM) and Nyau Ke Xin, who is contesting as an independent.
