Separately the National Press Club (NPC) Malaysia walkathon "Jom Jalan with NPC 2024" is set to take place on June 2.

The walkathon offers two main categories — a competitive 10km walk and a leisurely 5km fun walk — open to individuals of all ages, ensuring inclusivity and widespread participation.

Beyond promoting fitness, the event aims to unearth new talents in competitive walking, providing a platform for aspiring athletes to showcase their skills and potential.
