#NSTviral: Traffic cop's kindness to disabled teen wins hearts

KUALA LUMPUR: A young man's attempt to chat with a traffic policeman on duty at a location in Pahang probably saved several motorists from speeding tickets.

But it was the kindness shown by the cop toward the teenager with disability that won netizens' hearts.

The video, shared by TikTok user "PrinceAyei', showed the cop not being bothered at all when the boy 'visited' him at his post.

Instead, both of them were seen engaging in a deep conversation that started with the boy's mosque duties to the policeman's uniform.

Amid all this, the policeman continued with his duty of pointing his speed gun at passing motorists along the stretch.

It was later learnt that the boy's ambition was to become a policeman one day.

The viral video has so far received more than 62,000 views and likes, shared by over 3,700 tiktokers and received more than 1,800 comments.

A user khalifgshock thanked the policeman for being so nice to the boy despite busy working.

"It was nice of you sir for attending to the boy..."

Another user, Nazari Yusoff, in jest, thanked the boy for 'distracting' the traffic policeman.

"Well done, brother, you managed to distract the traffic police. Many speeding drivers are able to escape being summoned (because of you),"

Meanwhile, nabilfikri wrote: "I believe this policeman is a good person... Amiin. Thank you bro for being a good cop..."
