#NSTviral: Foreign workers seen bathing, washing laundry with water from storage tanks

KUALA LUMPUR: A viral video showing three foreign workers, believed to be Bangladeshi, bathing and washing their laundry with water directly from storage tanks atop a building in USJ 21, Subang Jaya, has drawn mixed reactions from netizens.

In the 19-second video, which was posted on social media and widely shared, it showed the three men, believed to be working and living nearby, going about their chores without realising that they were being filmed.

One of them was seen taking a bath directly in front of the tanks, where soap and other sediments had flowed back into it.

While many who saw the video condemned the irresponsible act, others urged the authorities to take quick action.

TikTok user, @MrCpnfyn urged the person who filmed the video to make a police report. He said: "Please report to the authorities. What happens if there is a water (supply) cut?"

Meanwhile, user @MaslaysiaBoleh lamented that "the workers were too much."

Another user, @NadtrahIbrahim commented that the video was filmed quite a while back but there had yet been no action taken by the authorities.

Sharing Nadtrah's sentiment was user @arincjunk who questioned why the tanks were not padlocked to prevent such acts from happening.
