KUALA LUMPUR: Singer Hael Husaini, who sang his song titled "Bintang" during the 38th Anugerah Juara Lagu (AJL38) last night took to social media hours before the event to seek tips from fans to reduce swelling in his eye.
Hael uploaded a photo showing his eye which was afflicted with an infection yesterday.
The condition left the AJL 32 and AJL 33 champion feeling uncomfortable and he sought tips from his followers. "What can I do to make it shrink quickly?," he wrote in the comment section on Instagram.
In a separate post on Instagram Story, Hael also questioned why the infection occurred on such an important day for him.
"Why today. Why?," the singer said.
Some fans commented in the comment section with tips on how to overcome the situation.
"As usual, wear spectacles bro," said popular host and actor Awal Ashaari.
Despite his predicament, Hael performed well, according to fans.
ummu_balqis commented, "A very effortless performance tonight yet so powerful by @haelhusaini Well done Hael. See you next AJL. Terbaik."
The first runner-up was Sutera performed, written and composed by Aisha Retno. The second runner-up was Jangan Mati Rasa Itu performed, written and composed by Aina Abdul.
