Pakatan likely started rumour on reps going to Selangor palace, says Noh Omar

BANTING: Tan Sri Noh Omar today said the recent rumour, claiming that four PKR assemblypersons were planning to leave the coalition, was most likely to have been started by those in Pakatan Harapan.

The Selangor Umno liaison committee chairman said he believed that the rumour was created and circulated via WhatApp to divert the people's attention from the recent Pas-PKR spat.

"I had been watching closely the political development in Selangor, and from what I saw, Pakatan Harapan leaders, they like to act and create issues especially when they are faced with problems.

"They will create some issues each time they are in a tough spot. This is about their internal squabbles.

"I believe that they had created the rumour themselves and pin the blame on Umno, alleging that we started it," he told reporters after attending Himpunan Perdana Rukun Tetangga in Sungai Manggis, here earlier today.

Noh was commenting on a message that was spreading in social media early this week, alleging that two independent assemblypersons and four PKR assemblypersons had gone to the Selangor Palace to raise concern over the PKR-led Selangor state government which they claimed was no longer stable.
