More headache for the country if Tun M becomes the PM again

KUALA LUMPUR: Pakatan Harapan’s move to name Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad as the pact’s Prime Ministerial nominee in the event they win the 14th General Election (GE14) will only bring more problems to the country.

Pas central committee member Nik Mohamad Abduh Nik Abdul Aziz in a cynical posting at his Facebook account questioned whether it is appropriate to name Dr Mahathir who is the source of all problems in the country in the past, to replace Datuk Seri Najib Razak.

“They say that Datuk Seri Najib (Razak) is cause of the nation’s problems. Let’s say it’s true, but they chose Dr Mahathir, the source of all past problems as a successor.”

“Are they trying to resolve problems or celebrate the problems. Today Pakatan Harapan is full of problems. Is it because of Dr Mahathir, Datuk Seri Anwar (Ibrahim, Lim Kit Siang or Mohamad Sabu.”

He adds that the opposition pact should also not blame Pas as the source of their current predicament and problems.

“Don’t say it’s because of Pas, this only shows that Pakatan Harapan is quite fragile,” he said adding that the pact could be easily shaken in their confrontation with Pas.

The son of the late Kelantan Mentri Besar Datuk Nik Abdul Aziz Nik Mat also blamed Dr Mahathir’s supporters who he labeled as ‘worshippers’ for dragging the former Prime Minister to harbour dreams of leading the nation for yet another time.
