Worry about your own states, Selangor Umno leader tells Pakatan Harapan

SHAH ALAM: Pakatan Harapan should worry about their own states that appeared to be sinking, instead of claiming that Barisan Nasional is not right for Malaysia and its people.

Selangor Umno information chief Datuk Zein Isma Ismail said the opposition pact could not deny the fact that with Pas’ absence and Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad’s appearance, the pact is in a "topsy-turvy" phase.

He also pointed out that the opposition does not have to "save Malaysia" from anything or anyone since the country is well taken care of and economically stable under the current BN administration.

Zein said he could not fathom why would Pakatan Harapan want to so-called "save the country" when it has already been explained that Malaysia is not a bankrupt nation.

“Their slogan, which is based on these unverified claims, is no longer relevant since it has been proven to be untrue and merely some slanderous remarks aimed at tarnishing the reputation of the current leader and government.

“Is Malaysia, under BN, going bankrupt? Are the people living in this country in bad shape to the point of having nothing to eat? Are government projects being abandoned? Or are civil servants not being paid salaries?

“All this did not happen under the existing leadership. In fact, the government is still able to pay bonuses to government employees and pursue infrastructure development projects for the benefit of the people.

“The Malaysian Ringgit is also recovering. Likewise, the state reserve has reached RM425.6 billion as of March 15, 2017,” he said in a statement today.

Zein urged the people, especially the younger generation to make wise and informed decision when they want to decide the ruling government during the elections.

“They should be able to differentiate false claims made by the opposition from the reality.

“Do not rely on emotion and perception when making decision. We must rely on reality and facts. Decisions based on emotion and perception will bring nothing good, but decisions based on reality and facts will not disappoint.” he added.
