Terengganu BN focussed on winning four Parliamentary seats in GE14

DUNGUN: Terengganu’s Barisan Nasional (BN) will focus on contesting four Parliamentary seats in the state in order to wrest them back from the opposition in the 14th general election (GE14).

State BN chairman Datuk Seri Ahmad Razif Abdul Rahman said the four seats are Kuala Terengganu, Kuala Nerus, Marang and Dungun.

Towards this end, Razif, who is also Terengganu Menteri Besar, said that a Gempur Tumpuan Parti (GTP) programme will be launched soon.

“We will attack the Parliamentary and state constituencies which we believe we have a great chance at winning.

“(For instance), we are confident of winning by a bigger majority in the state constituency of Dungun.

“We will use the concept of unity and integration, and mobilise all available assets, with the assistance of the central headquarters,” he said at the Himpunan Semarak Kasih Kepimpinan Umno DUN Bukit Besi 2018 at Dewan Semerbak, Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Bukit Besi.

Present were Umno education bureau chairman Tan Sri Dr Ibrahim Shah Abu Shah; state Health, Women’s Development, Family and Community Committee chairman Roslee Daud; and Umno Dungun division chief Datuk Din Adam.
