SHAH ALAM: Selangor Parti Amanah Negara (PAN) youth today hit out at Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Mohamed Azmin Ali for straining ties among Pakatan Harapan allies over the electoral seat distribution in the state.
State PAN youth chief Abbas Azmi said Azmin who also led Selangor Pakatan had been egoistical over the issue.
“He (Azmin) has always been talking about seat allocation but in reality, it has not started yet.
“If it is true that (state) Pakatan has held four meetings on the seat allocation, we want him to specify the venue and time of the meetings.
“As far as we know, meetings of Pakatan leaders only involve discussions on election machinery,” he said to BH.
Abbas said Azmin should withdraw his recent accusation against PAN as a lying party.
“The accusation is very serious and unacceptable,” he said.
Selangor PAN chairman Izham Hashim had reportedly said Selangor PKR should abide by directives from Pakatan to form a special committee on seat distribution for state constituencies.
In response, Azmin had described PAN as lying and untrustworthy for trying to distort the issue on seat allocation among Pakatan allies in Selangor.
