Pakatan to resolve Selangor seat allocation internally

KAPAR: Pakatan Harapan pro-term chairman Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad today said the ‘clash’ involving Selangor’s Parti Amanah Negara (PAN) and PKR over the electoral seat distribution would be resolved internally.

He said the ‘clash’ was an internal problem within the opposition pact and should be dealt behind closed doors.

“We will solve the issue internally. It is only a small misunderstanding between both parties,” he said today.

Dr Mahathir said this when asked to comment on the ‘attack’ by the state PAN chairman Izham Hashim on Selangor menteri besar Datuk Seri Azmin Ali.

Tension is brewing among Pakatan leaders in Selangor over seat allocations in Selangor for the upcoming 14th general election.

PKR deputy president Datuk Seri Azmin Ali had accused Selangor PAN state chief Izham Hashim of lying at their meetings on discussions involving seat allocations.

Azmin claimed that Selangor PH had met four times to discuss on seat allocations while Izham maintained that PH leaders only held election meetings, and not meetings on seat allocations.
