KOTA BARU: Pas is ready to face the 14th general election (GE14), which is expected to be called any day now.
Pas’s deputy spiritual leader, Datuk Ahmad Yakob, said that the party is not worried as it has made all necessary preparations for the upcoming polls.
"Our machineries in all states have been told to be on stand-by for Parliament to be dissolved.
"Except for the candidate's list, which has yet to be finalised, other preparations are already completed," said the Kelantan Menteri Besar.
Ahmad, who is also state Pas commissioner, said that the list of candidates should be finalised soon.
Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi yesterday hinted that the GE14 will likely be held before Hari Raya Aidilfitri.
He said that there will be a “big occasion” before the Aidilfitri celebration.
