IPOH: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak had a meeting with the Perak Barisan Nasional machinery during his ‘Jelajah Perdana Menteri’ to the state today.
Najib who is also BN chairman, was greeted by Perak BN chairman and menteri besar, Datuk Seri Dr Zambry Abd Kadir at about 10am at Aman Jaya Convention Centre.
Najib then proceeded to convey his message to more than 2,000 party machinery members for about an hour in preparation for the 14th general election (GE14).
Also present were Gerakan president Datuk Mah Siew Keong; MCA secretary-general Datuk Seri Ong Ka Chuan and Umno Veterans chairman Tan Sri Tajol Rosli Ghazali among others.
The media learnt that Najib also launched the machinery and reminded the team to work hard and ensure BN's victory in the state.
Najib is currently speaking at the #Bajet2018 gathering with civil servants at Malaysia Health Training Institute in Tanjung Rambutan.
He is expected to return to Kuala Lumpur to attend Permodalan Malaysia Berhad's 40th anniversary celebration.
