GEORGE TOWN: Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi wants the 14th general election (GE14) to be the cleanest election, with zero defects, in terms of the nation’s security.
He said the people are depending on the security forces to ensure peace and order.
He said there should be no political differences when security is concern.
“Let this GE14 to be the cleanest election ever.
“Let it be free from any issues in terms of security,” he said in his speech during a working visit to the state police contingent headquarters here this morning.
Zahid said the people placed their utmost trust in the security forces to uphold security, so it must be translated into action.
