KUALA LUMPUR: Sungai Besar Umno Division chief Datuk Seri Jamal Md Yunos said he is not contesting in the 14th General Election.
He said there was a proposal for him to contest but he had turned it down.
However, Jamal said he would continue to be part of the Barisan Nasional machinery assisting the candidates chosen by the BN leadership.
He spoke to reporters after lodging a report at the Ampang Jaya police headquarters over a falsified account of his on social media. -- Bernama
