Bersatu AGM: Srikandi, Armada meetings to dominate second day

PUTRAJAYA: The second day of Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia’s (Bersatu) inaugural annual general assembly (AGM) today will largely comprise of closed-door debate sessions by its Srikandi women’s wing and Armada youth wing.

Srikandi and Armada’s meetings will be opened by Bersatu president Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin at the Putrajaya International Convention Centre (PICC) here, tonight.

The day will kick off with Armada chief Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman and Srikandi chief Datuk Seri Rina Harun giving their respective policy speeches, with the winding-up sessions to be held in the afternoon.

Upon completion of the wings’ assemblies, the focus of the AGM will shift to the policy speech by party chairman, Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad.

Bersatu’s AGM is expected to draw about 1,550 delegates. -- Bernama
