Aiman: I can't do anything about my voice

SEMENYIH: Muhammad Aiman Zainali finds it difficult to speak louder when meeting his potential voters.

So much so, some have approached to coach the Pakatan Harapan candidate on how to better deliver his message during the Semenyih by-election campaign period.

"This is my voice. I don't not know how to make it louder.

"But there are those provided (speech) coaching for me. God-willing I will improve my delivery (of speeches or message)," the 30-year old told the media during a walkabout to meet voters at Semenyih Parkland.

As campaign for the state seat enters its third day, Muhammad Aiman said he had yet to speak at ceramah.

The political greenhorn who is also Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia Hulu Langat division treasurer, was also advised by his boss Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin to speak "louder" during a media conference.

"For now I have yet to speak at any ceramah.

"(To question on whether he prepared talking points for his ceramah) Yes, there are a few. We will see how it goes," Muhammad Aiman said.

Earlier, Muhammad Aiman said his campaign would not involve a manifesto but a "plan" to address local issues and numerous residents' plights.

He pledged that he would champion local issues, particularly the need for a local hospital due to congestions at Kajang Hospital.

"I also plan to form a committee for each district polling centres to explain initiatives set by the state government, as many are still not aware about them."

Muhammad Aiman is locked a four-cornered fight against Barisan Nasional's Zakaria Hanafi, 58, Parti Sosialis Malaysia's Nik Aziz Afiq Abdul, 25 and independent candidate Kuan Chee Heng, 56.
