KUALA TERENGGANU: Pas has to prove that it supports Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (Bersatu) chairman Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad in the next general election, Pakatan Harapan president Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail said today.
“We welcome Pas’ support for Dr Mahathir, but the party needs to walk the talk in the next general election,” said Dr Wan Azizah, who is also deputy prime minister and minister in charge of women, family and community development.
Dr Wan Azizah rubbished rumours about an attempt to oust Dr Mahathir as prime minister and a move by certain members of parliament to push for a vote of no-confidence against him in the coming parliamentary session.
