Ignore Pas' attacks against DAP - Mohamad Sabu

KUALA LUMPUR: Parti Amanah Negara (Amanah) president Datuk Seri Mohamad Sabu today called the party leaders and members to ignore Pas's attacks against DAP.

In a statement, Mohamad labelled Pas as a party that could change in the blink of an eye.

"Pas used to be a sworn enemy of Umno, not only in terms of political but also religious. However, after the victory of Pakatan Harapan, consisting of Amanah, PKR, DAP and Bersatu in 2018, Pas quickly collaborated with Umno to overthrow the existing government.

"They put behind all the conflicts and clashes they had with Umno," he said in his Facebook.

Mohamad added the same went with the party's relationship with DAP.

"When they were together, they always praised DAP, claiming that they consistently respected the constitution and democratic rights.

"However, today they make negative comments about DAP. If Amanah decides to sever ties with DAP, in the next hour Pas will immediately extend its hands to DAP, which has 40 parliamentary seats.

"All their criticisms towards DAP will change immediately because for Pas, power is the primary goal above all else.

"Therefore, remain calm and do not entertain their behaviour. When the time comes, we will see a change in their attitude," he said.
