Unofficial: Tok Mat poised to retain Rantau

REMBAU: Barisan Nasional's (BN) Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan looks set to retain the Rantau state seat as the votes are being tallied at SJKC Bandar Sri Sendayan, here.

With the voter turnout at 74 per cent as of 4pm, an hour and a half before polling centres closed at 5.30pm earlier today, Mohamad's current 8,442 votes appear to have given him the easy majority needed to win the seat.

Pakatan Harapan's (PH) Dr S Streram polled 4,642 votes after 46 ballot boxes tallied.
