PUTRAJAYA: PKR has alleged that Perikatan Nasional (PN) chairman Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin has been scammed by its coalition partner Pas which has no intention whatsoever to form a government together after the 15th General Election (GE15).
PKR deputy president Rafizi Ramli said Pas wanted to build a government with Umno instead.
Rafizi, speaking at the Ayuh Malaysia Kita Boleh mega ceramah last night, said the GE15 campaign was largely funded by Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (Bersatu), including funds to get influencers to promote PN.
Rafizi said it included campaigns for Pas candidates in Kelantan, Terengganu and Kedah which used their own party logo to contest instead of PN banner.
"This is why I said Muhyiddin has been scammed. Pas has no intention to form a government with PN. Pas knows that PN will not get to form a government anyway.
"That is why Pas is contesting in Kelantan, Terengganu and Kedah under their own logo.
"Mat Jargon, Bersatu Youth chief, can keep his beard long because after this he will be (part) of Pas (under Datuk Seri) Ikmal Hisham (Abdul Aziz of) Pas," he said at the rally held at Padang Bola Sepak Pinggiran Putra.
At the same rally, Negeri Sembilan Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Aminuddin Harun said voters should forget about the time when the country was led by an 'old man' for 22-months under Pakatan Harapan from 2018 to February 2020.
Without naming anyone, Aminuddin said the 'old man' was considered a hypocrite who did not honour promises.
"If we were led by Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, I am confident that the government administration today will be better, and so will the country," he said.
Malaysians, he said, were ashamed of the country's economic situation, including the value of the ringgit which has not been as strong compared to its neighbouring countries.
However, he said, the 22-month government did better than the current caretaker administration as the cost of necessities had multiplied many times.
Aminuddin said GE15 should be a platform to resolve problems with leaders who had betrayed PH so that they do not 'disturb' the administration that will be formed on Nov 20.
"We must ensure that these traitors are wiped out from this earth. What I meant is not to 'kill them' but to let them scramble," he said.
