SUBANG JAYA: Pakatan Harapan candidate for Subang, Wong Chen claimed that he had won the constituency seat in the 15th General Election.
"They are still counting, but I have crossed the 50 per cent mark and I expect to win (another) 70 to 80 per cent. I want to thank the Subang people (for supporting me).
"(We have) already won," he said at the Dorsett Grand Subang Hotel here.
He added that the coalition has won 77 per cent in Kinrara.
"So, I think we are very comfortable," he said.
Wong faced a three-cornered fight against Barisan Nasional's Dr Kow Cheong Wei and Perikatan Nasional Alex Ang H N.
In the previous general election (GE14), Wong won with a majority of 92,353 votes in the constituency, defeating Barisan Nasional's Tan Seong Lim and Pas' Mohd Shahir Mohd Adnan.
