KULIM: Kedah Pakatan Harapan (PH) chairman Datuk Mahfuz Omar today rebuffed claims that there was a last-minute change to the party's candidate for the Padang Serai parliamentary seat.
Mahfuz, who arrived together with PH candidate Dr Mohamad Sofee Razak, 47, at the 15th General Election (GE15) nomination center in Kulim Hi-Tech Sports Complex said the claims were unfounded.
"Here he is. The candidate is with me," he said.
There were reports claiming that PH had decided to change another candidate for the seat hours after announcing Sofee as its candidate late last night.
