All is well with Bersatu, says Muhyiddin

KUALA LUMPUR: Perikatan Nasional (PN) chairman Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin has rubbished speculation of him having "issues" with his secretary general Datuk Seri Hamzah Zainudin.

He alleged that it was purposely raised by cybertroopers to divert the attention of the real issues on the opposite side.

"PN is the most harmonious. There is no issue or crisis.

"Did you hear anything like that, of us throwing fists at each other, or any arguments?

"This is a psywar trying to turn away the attention of the main issues and crisis of others," he said in a press conference today.

Hamzah, who was present at the press conference, did not add any further comments when asked by newsmen.

On the offer extended to former Umno Youth chief Khairy Jamaluddin to join Bersatu, Muhyiddin said it remained status quo for now.

He said Khairy had spoken on the matter in his Keluar Sekejap podcast session recently, hence he had nothing more to add at the moment.

He also remained coy on whether Khairy will be named as a candidate for PN.

"We have not announced any candidates yet," he added.

Recently, Khairy said Muhyiddin had asked him to rethink his decision on the offer to join Bersatu.
