International collaboration can boost local halal market

This optimism stems from the rising trajectory of Malaysia's industrial property demand.

Spanning 616.64 acres of freehold land in Bandar Enstek, Negeri Sembilan, phase 3 is expected to mirror the robust sales performance of its predecessors.

The pride of techpark@enstek lies in its distinction as one of the pioneering and largest technology parks, awarded Halal Malaysia status in 2010 by Halal Development Corporation Berhad.

Functioning as a hub for companies involved in halal food and beverage production, ingredients, biopharmaceuticals, and pharmaceuticals, it also hosts JAKIM's Malaysia Halal Analysis Centre, the country's premier purpose-built halal laboratory.

To date, techpark@enstek has facilitated over 1,500 job opportunities through a cumulative investment of RM4 billion.

Recently, TH Properties received a notable Saudi delegation led by Dr. Hisham Al-Jadhey, chief executive officer of the Saudi Food and Drug Authority.

During this visit, Datuk Wan Hashimi Albakri W.A.A. Jaffri, a board member of TH Properties, underscored the importance of international collaboration in propelling the global halal industry forward.

"Through shared knowledge and expertise, we aim to drive innovation and excellence in halal products and services," he said in a statement.

Dr. Hisham expressed his observations during his visit, noting the abundance of opportunities in Malaysia's expansive and dynamic halal sector.

"I believe that TH Properties plays a pivotal role in helping redefine and unlock new opportunities for the regional and global halal landscape. Together, we are poised to create a legacy that resonates far beyond borders," he said.
