KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysian shuttler Ng Tze Yong crashed out of the first round of the Denmark Open today.
Tze Yong, 23, who reached the Arctic Open final last week, lost 21-18, 21-11 to China's Lu Guang Zu.
Just last week, Tze Yong downed Guang Zu in the quarter-finals in Finland.
The Chinese world No. 12 will face world No. 2 Antony Sinisuka Ginting of Indonesia next.
Malaysian men's doubles Man Wei Chong-Tee Kai Wun, who finished second in the Arctic Open, lost 21-18, 21-16 to Japan's Akira Koga-Taichi Saito in the first round.
