KUALA LUMPUR: Lee Zii Jia defeated his former national teammate, Ng Tze Yong, 21-15, 20-22, 21-17 in the China Masters first round today.
The victory is Zii Jia's third over Tze Yong in all competitions.
Zii Jia will face either Lu Guang Zu of China or Thailand's Kantaphon Wangcharoen in the second round.
