Triumphant finish for Walscheid at Petronas Twin Towers

KUALA LUMPUR: German rider Max Walscheid captured the third stage of the Petronas Le Tour de Langkawi (LTdL) today.

The NTT Pro Cycling rider, who finished second in stage two on Saturday, crossed the line first in the third stage from Temerloh to Kuala Lumpur.

Walscheid recorded three hours, 51 minutes and 42 seconds in the 162.5km ride.

In a bunch sprint finish in front of the Petronas Twin Towers, Nippo Delko Provence's Riccardo Minali came in secocnd and Team Sapura Cycling's Ahmet Orken was third.
