KUALA LUMPUR: Former Puskas Award winner Faiz Subri will likely remain with Penang for the Premier League next season.
Faiz, who won the 2016 Puskas Award for his remarkable free-kick in a Super League match, said he has received many offers, but will likely opt for a contract extension with Penang.
"I will likely accept Penang's offer to remain at the club," said Faiz.
"I have offers, but I am more keen on Penang as I want to help them earn a promotion to the Super League next season.
Faiz added that it will not be easy for Penang as the Premier League will have many quality teams next year.
Last season, Penang finished last in the Super League with only 12 points from 22 matches.
