KUALA LUMPUR: National player Kiko Insa has won a pay-off from his former club, Pahang following a ruling by the FA of Malaysia (FAM).

Insa brought forward his demands against the Pahang FA (PFA) over a contract dispute and unpaid wages.

FAM’s status committee ordered the former Malaysia Cup champions to pay the Spanish-born US$30,000 (RM118,674).

Status committee head Mohd Joehari Ayub said: “The matter will be brought to FAM’s disciplinary committee if PFA do not settle the sum within 14 days.”

“However, PFA can still appeal,” he said on Thursday.

“The club need to settle it within 30 days,” he added.
