On Saturday, Selangor, the former Super League champions, were embarrassed 2-1 by Sabah in a Malaysia Cup Group D match at Likas Stadium.
It was Selangor’s third straight defeat in the competition and it will now be tough for them to qualify for the quarter-finals.
Substitutes Rahman Shah Marajeh and Ricco Nigel Milus were Sabah’s heroes with goals in the 82nd and 90th minutes to cancel out Selangor’s lead in the 79th minute through Sean Eugene Selvaraj.
