Seladang can walk back into Super League

KUALA LUMPUR: Perak are taking the easy way back to the Super League from division two.

The Seladang will just walk back into the top tier following the Malaysian Football League's (MFL) decision to scrap the playoffs between the top two M3 League teams and bottom two Premier League sides for the two slots in the 2023 Super League.

MFL revealed that the M3 teams, who are amateur sides, had failed to obtain licences to play in the Super League.

Perak FC chairman Datuk Seri Abdul Azim Mohd Zabidi believes the Silver State are now back on track after XOX Pro Sport Sdn Bhd took over in May.

Azim has duly put Perak's house in order by settling their debts. The 2018 Malaysia Cup champions also announced the signing of Lim Teong Kim as their head coach earlier this month.
